At Tulare First Baptist we believe in small groups. It is in these small family-like circles that you can be ministered to through the Word, through Fellowship, and through Accountability that comes from Trust and Transparency. We encourage every member of our congregation to find a small group to study God’s Word and build strong relationships that challenge and encourage each to grow in their relationship with Christ.

We offer small groups on Sunday Mornings as well as throughout the week. If you would like to join one of these groups please contact me at 686-0004 and I would love to help you find the best fit for you. I would also highlight this month the start of a new study:

Fall is just around the corner and we are excited to see what God is going to do through you this year.

We are looking for those who feel called to lead small groups for the fall. Please contact me via email if this might be something you are interested in. If you are already leading a small group, either on Sunday or during the week, please be sure to fill out the Small Group leader profile I have given you. If you did not receive one, please contact me via email and I can send it to you. For the fall we want to be able to promote your ministry to touch the lives of others.

As shared in my sermon on July 10, I believe our church, through our small group ministries should be getting to Know His Heart. This can happen as we Share His Word and Show His Word to those closest to us. Then we need to be persistent in Doing His Work, which as Followers of Christ is to Teach His Word as to obedience. As we continue to do this we will begin the process of Being His People which will result in Serving the World around us. As we do these things we will be faithful to fulfill Christ’s Commission to us to, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” I look forward to serving with you this fall. Please be in prayer as to how God would move you to serve.Then serve.

New Study: Are you on God’s Team?
This study will begin on August 14th, at 9:45a.m. in the Quad Room with the Blue Door. It is led by
John Bright and will relate our Christian life to various aspects of a successful football team. This
will be a great way to experience some Sunday Football!

1828 Ministry
If you are between the ages of 18 and 28 we have a ministry just for you. We meet every Sunday Morning at
9:45 in Room E-11, upstairs in the quad, led by the Curlee’s. If mornings don’t work for you, that’s ok, we have Thursday Night Dinner Fellowship at the Presant’s every week at 6:30 PM (317 Mitchell,Tulare). We are excited to see that we have so many young adults joining us during our Worship Services and we would like to offer you a smaller setting to get to know your peers.
