Guest Service Opportunities
USHERS (DURING EACH SERVICE)
Ushers are an essential part of our Sunday service. They pass out bulletins, help people find seating, collect the offering, as well as serve communion.
Greeters (arrive 20 minutes before either service)
Do you have a right (or left) hand? Can you smile? Then you have the qualifications for a greeter. Greeters are the face of the church. Cheerful greeters can make a lasting impression on new people. Greeters help answer questions and direct people to where they need to go.
SET UP (30 MINUTES BEFORE THE FIRST SERVICE)
Are you an early riser? Find yourself at church early for no particular reason? We have a lot of different things that get set up each week. From coffee tables to signs and everything in-between.
TEAR DOWN (30 MINUTES AFTER THE SECOND SERVICE)
The name says it all. At the end of our second service there are tables, signs and other items that need to be cleaned up and put away.
Coffee (before and after each service)
Do you like coffee? Help others enjoy it as well by helping to set up our coffee service Sunday morning. This service includes brewing the coffee that we serve, stocking the cups, cream and other supplies needed. Plus you get free coffee!
SPOT-CHECK (BETWEEN THE SERVICES)
Our services can get kind of busy and we want to make sure our worship center is ready for a quick turn around between services. That requires, checking the restrooms and making sure they are stocked and ready for the next service as well as walking the floor of the worship center to pick up any trash or left over materials from the previous service.
Get Info Table (20 minutes before and after each service)
Are you a know-it-all? Then you need to be at the get info table to provide answers to questions that members and visitors may have. On any given week, people may be directed to this table to sign-up for an event or to find out more about it. You may also answer the questions of first time guests as they spend their time with us.
