Ephesians 4:32

1. How God Forgives

Isaiah 2:3a And many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.”

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

2. What God Forgives

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

3. Who God Forgives

Jonah 3:10 When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.

4. Who God Does Forgive

Matthew 6:14–15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

6 TIPS TO BECOME A PERSON WHO FORGIVES:

1. Accept that we don’t have a choice

1. Remember when people sin against you, they sin against God. (Psalm 51:4)

1. Take care of offenses while they are small.

1. Do not be easily offended at every incident (Romans 12:18)

1. Don’t keep a record of wrongs (Psalm 32:2)

1. It is our job to forgive (Luke 23:34)

1. Forgiving and reconciliation are not the same. (Luke 17:3-4)
