Join an Outreach Team.
We are all called to share the good news of Jesus Christ to those within our community and around the world. Whether in the city of Tulare or thousands of miles overseas, we have an amazing opportunity to be the HANDS and FEET of Jesus to some of the most vulnerable populations. If you are unsure which outreach team to join or have any questions feel free to reach out to us!
We want to bring dignity and compassion to people who have found themselves unhoused, struggling, and losing hope. Join the team by donating toiletry items, praying, preparing, or serving meals. Meet the team on I Street and Pleasant at 3pm on Sundays.
Care Portal is is an online tool that connects our church to the local needs of our community. Join the TFBC Response Team and meet the need of a child and their family and connect them to the love of Jesus.
A beacon of hope in a dark world. Tulare Lighthouse Rescue Mission is impacting the most vulnerable members of our community in the most profound ways. From their website, “Through the faithful and generous support of our community, the initial effort produced the Lighthouse Women’s Shelter in 2006. In 2019, we expanded to offer Men’s programs also. There are no easy answers to resolve the needs of the homeless in our city. However, through the continued support of our community and trust in God we are excited about what comes next.” Interested in learning more and joining their team? Click below.
