Visiting TFBC

Are you wondering what to expect when visiting our church?

Thinking about visiting TFBC? Here’s a snapshot of what to expect.

What to Expect at TFBC

At Tulare First Baptist Church, our greatest joy is worshiping Jesus and growing together as a family of faith! Whether you’re new to church or have been walking with the Lord for years, we’d love for you to join us! Below, you’ll find all the details on what to expect—from checking in your kids to experiencing Sunday worship and getting connected.

Sunday Experience

Sundays are the heartbeat of our church family! We gather at 8:30 AM & 10 AM for about 1 hour and 15 minutes to:

Worship Jesus through music (singing loud is encouraged!)
Dive into God’s Word with an expositional sermon
Seek God together in prayer

Come as you are—whether you’re in your Sunday best or rocking jeans and flip-flops, what matters most is showing up with a heart ready to worship!

Did we mention free coffee? Grab a cup and meet someone new before or after service.

We’d love to meet you! Stop by the Connect Cart after service to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about TFBC. First-time guests even get a free gift! (Who doesn’t love free stuff?)

Kids + Youth

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” and we couldn’t agree more! Our family ministries are designed to help kids and students experience God’s love, grow in their faith, and have a blast doing it.

TFBC Kids (Birth – 6th Grade)

  • On your first visit, our check-in team will greet you with a smile, walk you through the simple check-in process, and help your child find their class.

  • Our check-in  system keeps things safe and secure.

  • For pickup, parents must have the matching security sticker given at check-in.

  • Our amazing volunteers are background-checked, trained, and passionate about teaching kids about Jesus!

JHM + HSM (Jr. High & High School)
Middle and high schoolers need a place to grow in their faith and have fun, and that’s exactly what our youth ministries provide!

  • Jr. High (JHM) meets Wednesdays at 6 PM at West Campus

  • High School (HSM) meets Wednesdays at 7:30 PM at West Campus

  • Expect engaging Bible teaching, high-energy games, deep conversations, and a whole lot of Jesus.

Sunday Bible Study for High Schoolers – High school students are invited to dive deeper into God’s Word at 10 AM in the Youth Pastor’s Office (Jake Pitts). This is a great opportunity to ask questions, grow in faith, and build community!

We can’t wait to worship with you, grow together, and celebrate all that God is doing! See you Sunday!
