  1. Be gracious, but not gullible (1-6)

“The censorious critic is a fault-finder who is negative and destructive towards other people and enjoys actively seeking out their failings. He puts the worst possible construction on their motives, pours cold water on their schemes and is ungenerous towards their mistakes.” John Stott

“A Pharisee is hard on others and easy on himself, but a spiritual man is easy on others and hard on himself.” A.W. Tozer

  1. Be generous, and not gluttonous (7-12)

  • Pray with – Luke 18:1-8
